About Hannah Kim
Hannah Kim reviews reading and document apps for this site. Korean American and based around libraries her whole life, she came to app reviewing from work with digital archives, where she learned that a document tool succeeds or fails on unglamorous virtues: finding things fast, reading them comfortably, and never losing them.
Her testing is deliberately practical. She installs each app on real Android phones and tablets, reads long documents end to end, tests sign in and recovery flows, checks behaviour on weak connections, and verifies every published detail, from package name to file size, against the app itself.
She writes for the person holding the phone in a meeting, not for the person who built the app, and her guides assume intelligence, limited time and a healthy suspicion of vague instructions.
